As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Junior IT Help Desk Technician to join our support team.Role Overview
This is an entry-level position ideal for someone passionate about IT support and eager to grow their career. You will provide technical assistance to clients across Microsoft 365, desktop support, antivirus, data backup, cloud platforms, and NAS systems. This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise ICT systems and a clear development path.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer SupportProvide Level 1 technical support via phone, email, or ticketing systemTroubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)Assist with login problems, email setup, password resets, and file access
Desktop & ICT SupportSet up and maintain Windows desktops, laptops, and peripheralsInstall and manage antivirus software (e.g., ESET, Windows Defender)Monitor and assist with data backup processesConfigure and support NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices such as Synology or QNAPSupport office software, printers, and scanning devicesApply software updates and security patches regularly
Cloud Computing & Systems MonitoringProvide basic support on cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace, AWS, Dropbox)Help manage user accounts and permissions in cloud environmentsUse monitoring tools to track IT system health and performance
Documentation & CoordinationLog tickets and resolutions accurately in the helpdesk systemEscalate unresolved issues to senior engineersHelp document internal IT procedures and FAQs
RequirementsA diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or currently studying)0–2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environmentsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 admin tools and user supportUnderstanding of Windows OS, desktop hardware, and basic networkingBasic knowledge of antivirus, backup software, and NAS devicesStrong communication and troubleshooting skillsEagerness to learn and adopt new technologies
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platformsUnderstanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)ITIL or Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, AZ-900)Familiarity with helpdesk tools such as Freshdesk, Zendesk, or ConnectWiseExperience managing NAS systems and file sharing protocols
