CNSST Foundation is one of the largest Asian-focused community organizations in Aotearoa New Zealand, providing culturally and linguistically appropriate wrap-around services to over 15,000 individuals annually. Currently, we have an opening for a Qualified Social Worker fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, as well as English. We are seeking a social worker with a demonstrated understanding and proficiency in effectively addressing issues of family violence, safety, and protection within families. Ideally, you will engage with families at risk of ongoing family violence incidents, facilitating their access to services aimed at enhancing safety, parenting skills, and relationships.
Knowledge of family violence, safety planning, and risk management
Knowledge of local social systems and community resources
Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with an ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Flexibility, reliability, and strong professional boundaries
Competency in using PC Software products and new technologies
