Join New Zealand's Leading Synthetic Turf Team
TigerTurf is New Zealand's only synthetic turf manufacturer and the country's leading provider of premium synthetic turf solutions. For over 40 years, we've been designing, manufacturing, constructing, installing, and maintaining high-quality synthetic turf systems for sports fields, schools, playgrounds, commercial landscapes, and residential properties throughout New Zealand and internationally.
We're looking for motivated and reliable Construction Laborers to join our growing Construction Team. If you enjoy working outdoors, like being physically active, and take pride in producing quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a full-time, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll work on a variety of exciting projects across the Auckland region and around New Zealand, preparing sites and constructing the foundations for industry-leading synthetic turf installations as part of an experienced and supportive team.
This role involves regular travel and working away from home on projects throughout New Zealand. Applicants must be comfortable with working out of town when required multiple weeks at a time.
About the Role
As a Construction Labourer, you will be involved in all aspects of site preparation and civil construction, including:
Bulk earthworks and site preparation.
Excavation and subgrade preparation.
Installing drainage systems.
Preparing, placing, and compacting aggregate basecourses.
Assisting with concrete works, kerbing, edging, and formwork.
Operating hand and power tools safely.
Assisting with machinery and equipment as directed.
Reading plans and following construction specifications.
Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
Working closely with the Installation Team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This role is predominantly outdoors, so you must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and windy days.
What We're Looking For
The successful applicant will:
Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Be physically fit and capable of performing manual labor on a daily basis.
Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Be reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
Take pride in producing quality workmanship with good attention to detail.
Have a strong commitment to health and safety.
Be willing to learn new skills and contribute to a positive team culture.
Be able to understand, speak, read, and write English. Strong English communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with Managers and Team Leaders who communicate in English.
Hold a current full, clean New Zealand Driver License.
Previous experience in civil construction, earthworks, drainage, concrete, landscaping, roading, or other physically demanding roles is highly regarded. Experience operating construction machinery or holding relevant licenses (such as WTR) is advantageous but not required. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
What We Offer
Full-time, ongoing employment.

All required PPE was provided.
