TheRoleWeare seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our teamas a Wellness & Clinical Nurse.Thisis a great opportunity to become part of a fast growing retirement village andhelp shape the future clinical and wellbeing services of our community.Inthe initial stage of village operations, the role will focus primarily onproviding health monitoring, wellness support, care coordination, and clinicalguidance where required. As the village develops and expands its assistedliving services and future care units, the successful candidate will play anincreasingly important role in delivering and leading clinical care services,guiding caregivers, and contributing to the development of a comprehensivecontinuum of care model.Thisrole offers the opportunity to grow from a wellness-focused nursing positioninto a broader clinical leadership role as the community evolves. KeyResponsibilities· Clinical assessment, care planning andevaluation of resident care needs· Monitor residents’ health status and identifychanges in condition· Support the wellbeing and dignity of ourresidents with professionalism and compassion· Assist residents and families to navigatehealthcare services· Coordinate referrals and communication withGPs, specialists, pharmacies and allied health providers· Respond to clinical issues with soundjudgement and timely interventions when health incidents occur· Maintain accurate resident health records anddocumentation· Ensure compliance with relevant New Zealandhealth and privacy legislation· Building connections and relationships withresidents and their families (and allied health professionals in the community)· Deliver health promotion activities andwellness programmes· Organise wellness initiatives andpreventative health activities· Contribute to the development of the villagehealth and wellbeing strategy· Support caregivers and other village staffthrough clinical guidance and education Future ResponsibilitiesAsPinnacle Long Bay expands its assisted living services and future care units,responsibilities will progressively include more leadership tasks Skills& Experience· Current New Zealand Registered Nurse APC· Minimum 3 years nursing experience· Previous experience in reputable retirementvillages and aged care service providers· Current First Aid and CPR certification.· Strong assessment and clinicaldecision-making skills· Fluent Mandarin and English communicationskills (written and verbal)· Ability to communicate effectively withresidents, families, healthcare professionals· Ability to work independently and managemultiple priorities· A genuine commitment to resident safety,comfort and quality of life· Knowledge of New Zealand retirement villagelegislation and sector best practice.
