Key responsibilites: Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentsMeasure and quantify materials, labour, and subcontractor workEvaluate subcontractor and supplier quotesAssist to manage procurement and negotiate contracts with clientsMonitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performancePrepare progress claims, payment schedules, and cost reportsAssess variations and prepare variation claimsConduct site visits for measurement and verificationPrepare final accounts and ensure accurate project close-outLiaise with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients To apply for this role, you must Have a completed relevant tertiary education background Previous quantity surveying experience is preferred Be competent in quantity surveying relevant software and with the ability to learn business systemsHave a keen eye for detail and accuracyHave strong skills in communication, high abilities in time management and multitaskMust hold full unrestricted working rights for New Zealand Please sumbit your resume and a cover letter detailling your revelant expereince and why you're a great fit for this role to office@bmhhomes.nz.
